February 17th is Ash Wednesday.

Blessed Ashes in sealed plastic bags have been available for collection from the Church since Monday February 15th.

To help prevent the spread of infection:

One sealed plastic bag per household.

Please DO NOT share ashes from your bag with other households.

There’s also an A3 folded page on which you’ll find a Prayer Service for use at home on Ash Wednesday – use all or parts of it – and on the back there are some child friendly activities.

The Trocaire Boxes – almost an Irish Lenten tradition at this stage – are also available.
